What Happens After Competitions FAQ
May I get Feedback from the Judges?
Short answer is yes; please read on for the preference from each Judge as to how they would like to be contacted about giving feedback. We want to ensure those doing the challenging work of watching people dance and looking for all the competition criteria or audition criteria simultaneously get a chance to enjoy themselves dancing and socializing at the event too, so please read for their preference below and follow it! Please also note, that judges’ job isn’t to watch to give feedback, it’s to determine to what degree each competitor is exhibiting the criteria. To get the best feedback on your dancing, consider hiring one of the judges for a private where you can have them review your video of the competition with you and support you with individualized feedback.

Will there be video or pictures of the competitions posted?
We will have some pictures and video taken of the prelims and finals, but we cannot guarantee you’ll get to see yourself as up close and personal as you’d like, especially for prelims. If you’d like to have a video to review of your dancing in prelims, consider asking a friend to video you in particular.
If I win, what happens then?
You will get acclaim on the internet in the form of a video! Plus, some placements may receive a complementary pass to another awesome dance event. If you do receive a pass to another dance event, we’ll collect your preference of the passes we have available, determine who is awarded which pass, and then put you in touch with the appropriate organizers. You’ll need to follow up with them to see how to register for their event.
